*11. Some comments submitted by football players supporting the survey results:

"A playoff system will eliminate the necessary criticism of the BCS which favors power team in a powerful conference weekly."

"There MUST be bowl games available to teams who do not make the playoffs."

"I cant stand to see undefeated teams or even teams with one loss who are playing red hot being told they are done after being handed a bowl game win.  That is horrible. We have allowed money to override the competitive spirit in college football and it is extremely sad...People know what is righteous and fair.  Something MUST be done.  I am personally disgusted by the system we have now and to me it is very un American.  America is the land of opportunity.  Well try to tell that to undefeated teams who get sent home with NO OPPORTUNITY."

"Bowl games should be the first round of the playoff system where the same events of current bowl games happen, and the same rewards are given to players in the bowl games (money, bowl gifts, etc.)."

"I STRONGLY STRONGLY believe that a playoff system is needed and that the season must should be shortened by at least 2 games. Football destroys bodies!"

"I think in addition to the playoffs I still think there should be bowls. I believe it gives teams that know they won't win the conference a chance to play in the post season."

"LET'S CROWN A REAL CHAMPION!!!!!! MAKE THIS A NATIONAL MOVEMENT!"
