Search Medical Policy Grades
Despite what many of you are being promised, schools are not required to pay for any of your sports-related medical expenses – it’s optional. The NCPA is fighting to change this. Until then, the NCPA has asked all Division I schools to disclose key medical policies that can affect you as a college athlete. Don’t put your physical or financial well-being at risk. You should know what an athletic program’s medical policies are before you decide which school to play for.
The NCPA rated each athletic program’s medical policies A+ through F. Any school that refused to disclose their medical policies automatically received an “F” grade (many schools chose to keep their medical policies a secret; take that into consideration when making your decision).

It should be your right to know a school’s medical policies before you commit. In fact, you can issue a public records request for the medical policies that cover athletes (which can take up to a few months) at any public college or university.
